The remnants of this railway and the old French bridge can still be seen today, offering a glimpse into the island's colonial past. Transportation
To reach Don Khon, you'll first need to get to Ban Nakasang, the main access point for the 4000 Islands. From Pakse, you can take a bus or minivan to Ban Nakasang. The journey takes approximately 3-4 hours. From Ban Nakasang, you can hire a longtail boat to Don Khon. The boat ride takes around 15-20 minutes.
